Rob Halford is back behind the microphone. Angel of Retribution from 2005 is the first album with the legendary singer since the start of the 90s, and the band is currently working on an ambitious concept album about the foreseeing Nostradamus. Evidently, the tank is still burning fuming petrol.

Roskilde Festival has another band announcement this week. And like last Wednesday we are dealing with music that moves across country borders.

DENGUE FEVER (US/CBD) revives Cambodia's pop scene as it sounded in the 60s. Back then the sentimental and Bollywood-like songs were influenced by rock music brought in by the U.S. troops during the Vietnam war. Cambodian singer Chhom Nimol takes care of the authenticity in the music, and the band adds psychedelic rock and Ethiopian pop to the mix.

Roskilde Festival announces Dengue Fever at the same time as the Danish film festival NatFilm announces its programme. Here the audience can watch "Sleepwalking through the Mekong" - a film about Dengue Fever's visit to Cambodia, the home country for their music.
